The Carey Holiday Homes were part of the 1954-1955 Parade of Homes. Developer Lou Carey commissioned the firm of Baume& Polivnick to design these modernist inspired ranch homes in Harvey Park. While not as well known as Cliff May, the home designer behind the pre-fab ranchos in the neighborhood, Norton Polivnick’s own modernist home was featured by Architectural Record in 1954.
